Born on January the 9th in 1930 in Saumur (Maine et Loire, France), Norbert Delamotte expresses himself mainly through watercolour paintings - the method he really mastered.
In Paris, in 1969 and 1970, critiques in numerous arts newspapers and magazines (La revue Moderne des Arts et de la Vie, Le Peintre, Les Lettres Françaises) mentioned and highlighted his style, and among them, Jean Chabanon, from the Le Peintre magazine, who praised his skills in painting countrysides.

-Atelier de Philippe Steinmetz, artiste peintre de l'Académie des Arts de Strasbourg : 1965-1971.
